Incorporating Flexibility Training

Flexibility training, such as stretching, is an often-ignored type of exercise designed to improve the body's range of motion.
The American Council on EXERCISE says benefits of flexibility training may include:
  • Better posture and IMPROVED freedom of movement.
  • Improved relaxation, both mentally and physically.
  • Reduced muscle SORENESS and tension.
  • Lower risk of injury.
