7 Easy Ways To Fit In A Quick Workout

If you’ve been struggling to find time to work out, you’re not alone. We’ve got the tools (24 hour fitness facility) to help you get fit and today we’ve got some tricks to help you find time to work out. We know you can do it!

7 Easy Ways to Fit in a Quick Workout

1. Choose a time and stick with it

The hardest thing about getting a workout is simply to just show up! To be successful in fitness, you have to choose a time, make it law, and then hop to it. Remember that fitness can improve every aspect of life. It’ll improve your relationships, your family, your mental health, and even your job performance.
Sometimes we put ourselves after everything else in this life. But if we simply prioritize our schedules for a healthy lifestyle, we’ll see that we’re improving the lives of EVERYONE around us!

2. Stretch at the office

Try to get a good stretch at the office! If you’re on a phone conference or if you have a few minutes during the day, try to stretch on the job.

3. Workout at Lunch

If you can squeeze in a 15-30 minute workout at lunch, you’ll be better off for it. It helps break up the day, gets you moving, and inspires creativity. Try this lunchtime workout you can do anywhere!

4. Plan Your Workouts

Most people that come into the gym spend about an hour there. But most of these workouts can be done in 30 minutes if they are planned ahead and hone in on what they have planned already.
It’s easy to burn up time walking from machine to machine trying to decide what to do on the fly. Instead, make a plan, and stick to it. Check out the other workouts on our blog for great exercise ideas. There are plenty of quick workouts, some that’ll only take 15 minutes!

5. 10-Minute Workouts

No one said you had to do everything at once! Try breaking it up into a few 10-minute bodyweight workouts throughout the work day! Try these 10 minute workouts!

6. Use timing methods and apps to help

Break the monotony AND the time by adding timing methods to your workout. Often, people fall into the rut of doing the usual “3 sets of 12″ workouts. But sometimes it can be much more effective to do timing patterns instead. I personally prefer it because it helps me to limit my break time and keeps me on track during my workout.
For instance, set your timing app for 40 seconds of work and 1 minute of rest. Keep that up for the whole workout and you’ll be AMAZED at how effective it can be. You’ll get a great workout in half the time and will definitely feel it in the morning!

7. Make your weekend family time physical

Instead of watching TV at home this weekend, head out and do something outdoors!
If you live by the water, try kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, or lake swimming. You can also go for a hike or play some outdoor family games. I’m sure the kids won’t mind something physical. And if you don’t have kids, a long walk with your loved one never hurt anybody.
