Protect Your Hair From a Water Workout

Swimming is a great way to get needed exercise, but you may be worried about wrecking your hair in the process.
The Weight-control Information Network recommends:
  • Wear a swim cap while you're in the water to protect your hair.
  • Consider styling your hair in a short cut, such as by wearing short braids or locs.
  • Use a shampoo designed to remove chlorine buildup.
