Hugh Jackman - As Relaxed And Successful As He Can Be....

One thing, I can always say about Hugh Jackman is that he is simply awesome and never disappointing. No one works harder to get it right. Basically, there are no crumbs left when he leaves the job. When I met him sometime ago in New York City, and of course at the gym, we talked about "Wolverine" and about fatherhood. As parents we shared similar experiences and challenges, but at the end of the road, the shared experiences were similar and successful. An then, we were there talking about his sixth go at his signature character in this latest "The Wolverine." He thought I knew about it, but in fact, I never watched any of these Wolverine movies. So he was somehow surprised, but encouraged to talk to me more about it, as we worked out next to each other. Luckily that day he was without his personal trainer, and the gym was not busy at that time, so we chatted a little bit. Hugh Jackman is very competitive, whether he plays golf or cricket or rugby, whatever it is, but especially with himself. He wants to be in better shape every time he plays Wolverine. So he starts training earlier and harder. He has sometimes trained 3 hours a day in two sessions; which even encouraged me more to keep up with my own exercise activities. He eats six or seven meals a day, mostly lean meats and fish with unlimited vegetables, adding in bonuses like hummus, avocado and protein shakes, so as he said - "My main activity every day was digesting food." Hugh Jackman has also his own charity - Laughing Man Worldwide, which supports education, community development and entrepreneurship. He also looks at his job as a way to give back. He strives to create something that will last beyond his lifetime, and he looks up to the other performers who do that while also building philanthropic enterprises.
