Practice Cell Phone Safety

Cell phones are essential tools, but evidence suggests they can expose callers to radiation.
The Environmental Working Group offers these cell phone safety tips:
  • Use your speaker or a headset instead of holding the phone against your ear.
  • Text more instead of talking.
  • Talk only when the signal strength is high, as a weaker signal may mean higher exposure to radiation.
  • Don't store your phone near your head (such as under your pillow).
