Monitoring Your Weight

Even if you've successfully lost weight, a few slip-ups here and there may put you on a road back to weight gain.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention suggests how to monitor your weight:
  • Weigh yourself regularly so if you gain a few pounds, you can take quick action to reverse the trend.
  • Consider whether your exercise pattern has changed, causing you to gain weight.
  • Think about whether you're eating more than usual. Keep a food diary to track your eating patterns.
  • Commit to reinstating healthy habits, and set some achievable goals.
