GREAT EXAMPLE OF A POSITIVE ATTITUDE

There are no excuses for not exercising. Look at Oscar Pistorius, South Africa's olympic trailblazer. Oscar is slow out of the starting blocks. He lacks the propulsive leg strength of his competitors, and it is not hard to understand why. He has no legs!. A double amputee since he was 11 months old, Oscar wears a pair of J-shaped prostheses when he is on the track. They keep him upright, but his speed comes from elsewhere. Atop of the spindly artificial legs, his upper body and thighs are a powerful mass. h He rounds the first turn, barely distinguishable from his competitors, except that his hips seem to be turning more broadly from side to side, and his shoulders seem to be working harder than theirs. This is simply amazing. It is such an example and proof of what our bodies can do and adjust based on our abilities and willingness to overcome barriers. Pistorius, 25 years old, who has overcome legal as well as physical obstacles to claim a place among the world's elite of runners, in on course to London. I personally wish him the best luck during the upcoming London Olympics and hopefully, he will be also in Rio de Janeiro em 2016. Let us all congratulate him and wish him good luck folks!!
