Write Your Success Story...
A great way to achieve even more success on what you do is writing your own success story and not what others did for you, or what others gave to you, like money or inheritance, but your OWN SUCCESS STORY. Something worth to share with others. Something that will help others and make yourself even a better person.
1. BUILD WEALTH BY SHARING THE LOAD - In my early days, I never delegated, I did everything on my own. I studied and worked all day and night, I attended and graduated from universities in Brasil and in the United States of America, and worked hard for private organizations and now for the USA Government. But then, throughout this path, I met some great people and learned from them, and realized that I wanted to grow with them and with the knowledge they have shared with me. I may call them mentors, or simply part of my own inspiration.
2. PULL PEOPLE IN - With any project, I ask, "How can we make this experience different and better than anything else out there?" Let's not copy what someone else did, but create our own tings and experiences we believe in, talk to our customers, and find out what is going to make that experience magical.
3. KEEP YOUR MOMENTUM - I often have my best ideas when I am at the gym, swimming, riding my bike, in a museum (by the way, I love museums) and sometimes riding my car listening smooth jazz on my satellite radio. I will be focused on music, painting, nature around the bike track, but my subconscious kicks in and activates a part of my brain that is usually dormant. You just can't be great at your work, if you do have a good balance in the rest of your life. That goes double for sleep. I sleep a lot and love it.
4. BUY TIME - It is always fundamental to learn more and more all the time, or upgrade gadgets and learn new techniques and feel better about ourselves. This is what I do, I buy time, I exercise every single day of my life, I look into new gadgets and upgrade mine. As I exercise, I try new approaches and challenge myself. Today for instance, I complete a triathlon at the gym, by running, riding the bike, swimming and also lifting weights. So, this is buying time, and if you are in some sort of transition, even better. When the right time and right opportunity come on your way, you will be in the best shape ever, physically, mentally and emotionally. Or if you also prefer go to a new place and learn someone new, useful which will bring more ideas that you will share with others.
